As EuroHockey President, it is my pleasure to welcome all the players, umpires, officials, media and fans to Zagreb.

EuroHockey is fully committed to the outdoor game! This event is truly one of the highlights of our calendar year.

To all the players, I’d like to say: ‘I wish you a successful and rewarding tournament. May this tournament be a highlight of your hockey career and a wonderful memory of the hockey family! Play fair and do your club proud’.

To the fans, thank you for being here! We ask you to show your support and enthusiasm in the friendly and respectful way we expect of all hockey fans.

A tournament would not be possible without all our volunteers: the umpires, the officials and, of course, the organising committee.
